Founded in 1991, the Shelter provides safe housing for one and two-parent families who are pregnant or with children up to age 17. Families may stay up to 120 days while they work to obtain affordable housing and jobs, while getting access to case manager services to help them meet their many needs.
Although the Interfaith Association embraces many faiths, it does not require any religious affiliation or activity by those who receive housing or other services. During the most recent two years, the Shelter provided for 46 families comprised of 180 persons, of whom 106 were children.
Thank you for your support by placing your donations in the Tzedakah box located in the Temple foyer.
