Adult Education

We believe in Jewish adults becoming lifelong learners. Judaism offers a wealth of rich, deep, sophisticated concepts and ideas that are particularly useful for guiding adults dealing with:

• medical care for themselves and loved ones

• developing and maintaining relationships
• the sorrow of loss

• emotional highs and lows

Adult learning opportunities at Temple Beth Or equip participants with Jewish knowledge that will help them face the complexity of their lives. Whether taking a Basic Judaism course, or an advanced Talmud seminar, participants will emerge from these experiences with a greater appreciation of Judaism’s profound depths, and a greater understanding of how to lead a spiritual life.
